History

Automotive Integrated Electronics Corporation (AIEC) was founded in 1992 by former employees of the NCR Microelectronics Automotive Group.

AIEC is privately held.

Management

  • Richard J. Gauer, Founder and President

    Richard holds a BSEET degree from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Technology degree from Arizona State University. Richard has held technical and management positions in the semiconductor industry since 1983, and in the automotive semiconductor industry since 1985 at Honeywell (Solid State Electronics Division), GTE Microcircuits, NCR Microelectronics, and VLSI Technology.

  • Raymond F. (Frank) Emnett, Vice President of Engineering

    Frank joined AIEC in 1997. He holds a BSEE from Ohio State University and an MSEE from the University of Colorado. Frank has held technical and management positions in the semiconductor industry since 1988 at Symbios Logic (formerly NCR Microelectronics) and Lattice Semiconductor Corporation.
